Camp Sharing Tails

Let Us Visit and Teach Your After-school Care or Summer Camp Kids About Native Arizona Fishes!

Camp Sharing Tails is an adaptable, elementary school-aged program, teaching from kindergarten up to 5th graders (or so) about Arizona native fishes! We send pre- and post-visit materials then VIRTUALLY visit your kids to teach about Arizona native fishes through a fun, interactive presentation where kids can meet a fish scientist and gain an appreciation for our state’s unique natural resources! Our program does not use live fish as most Arizona fishes are threatened, endangered or Species of Concern, but rather we use pictures, videos, games, music, and creative, scientific materials for kids to see! Camp Sharing Tails is an informal program that supports aspects of the Arizona Science Standards and Arizona’s English Language Arts and Mathematics Standards.

Virtual Camp Sharing Tails program time: adaptable to your after-school care or spring/summer/winter break camp needs
