Camp Sharing Tails

Want something FUN for your after-school care or summer camp kids? Why not let us teach them about native Arizona fishes!!!

Camp Sharing Tails is a K-2 elementary program.  We send you pre-visit materials then visit your to your elementary after-school care or summer camp kids to teach them about Arizona native fishes through a fun, interactive presentation where kids can meet a fish scientist and gain an appreciation for our state’s unique natural resources! Our program does not use live fish as most Arizona fishes are threatened, endangered or Species of Concern, but rather we use pictures and creative materials for kids to see and touch! Camp Sharing Tails is a formal program that supports aspects of the Arizona Science Standards and Arizona’s Common Core Standards English Language Arts.

Program time: approx 60 min
